Turkey Bowl

In the fall of 1987, a group of friends and recent graduates from Granite Hills and Valhalla High Schools wished to carry on their friendly rivalry by playing a flag football game. Since most of the friends went away for college, they agreed to play the game on the day after Thanksgiving when they would be home visiting family for the holiday.

As the friends got older and more mature, they decided to play golf instead of football. Since that time, this core group of friends has been playing golf, catching up on old times, and having a great time raising a few bucks for worthwhile, local charities.
