Question: How many members does the Boys & Girls Clubs of East County serve?
Answer: The Clubs have over 2,500 members at its locations in El Cajon, Lakeside, La Mesa and Santee.
Question: Why is membership so inexpensive?
Answer: We keep our membership fees low so all children have the opportunity to belong to a club. As a not-for-profit organization, we are fortunate to have several partners who support the Boys & Girls Clubs of East County.
Question: How old do kids have to be?
Answer: Membership is open to all children ages 6-18 and is valid June 1st to May 31st. Six year olds must be in the first grade and have a birth certificate or other proof of identification (for age verification) at the time of registration.
Question: What type of events and activities does the Boys & Girls Clubs of East County have?

Answer: The Clubs are a safe place where kids are supervised by paid professional adult staff who offer fun and engaging programs for kids everyday at an affordable price.

Question: Do the Boys & Girls Clubs of East County have summer programs?
Answer: The Clubs offer Summer Day Camp for an additional fee during the mornings of summer months, check your Club’s Summer Program here.
Question: If I sign my child up for El Cajon, can they only attend that club?
Answer: Yes, all of our clubhouses have exclusive memberships.
Question: Why are your fees different from other Clubs in San Diego?
Answer: The Boys and Girls Clubs of East County is operated by its own Board of Directors, separate from others in San Diego. The clubhouses managed by this Board are El Cajon, Lakeside, La Mesa and Santee.
