News & Updates for Winter 2025-2026
Making Moments That Matter
As winter settles in, we are taking time to reflect on the meaningful moments our Members have already shared and the connections being built each day at the Club. Even during the colder months, our spaces are full of learning, creativity, laughter, and friendship. Our kids continue to show up, try new things, and support one another in a safe and welcoming environment.
This season has already brought so many special memories. One standout moment was the holiday party hosted by our friends at Cox at our La Mesa Club. The room was filled with smiles, excitement, and plenty of holiday cheer. We are incredibly thankful to Cox for helping make the day so memorable for our Members and for being such a generous community partner.
Looking Ahead to What’s Next
Have you RSVPed to our Annual Auction? Now is the time! On Saturday, March 7th we are going to be celebrating our iconic East County fundraiser and celebrating 65 Years of the Club! We can’t wait to see you all there.
We are also excited about what’s coming up this spring. Please save the date for Friday, May 29th when we will gather at Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan for a day on the green in support of the Boys and Girls Clubs of East County. This event brings together supporters, partners, and friends to help sustain the programs our Members rely on every day. More details will be shared soon.

Ross x BGCEC
We are grateful to our friends at Ross Dress for Less for supporting BGCEC in 2026. From February 7 through March 1, Ross locations throughout East County will invite customers to donate at the register to benefit Power Hour at our Clubs. This program provides academic support and helps our Members build strong study habits and confidence in school.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps make a real difference for the kids we serve.
Thank You for Being Part of Our Community
As we move through the winter months, we want to thank our families, volunteers, partners, and supporters for being part of the Club community. Your involvement helps create a place where kids feel supported, encouraged, and inspired every day.
We look forward to the months ahead and all the moments still to come.
