Celebrating the Future: Honoring Our 2026 Scholarship Recipients

At Boys & Girls Clubs of East County, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to pursue their dreams and build a bright future. This year, we are proud to celebrate an inspiring group of students who were selected as recipients of the 2026 Nancy Fazio Memorial Scholarship and Art Butler Memorial Scholarship.

These scholarships recognize outstanding local students who have demonstrated academic achievement, leadership, service to others, and dedication to their future goals. Through the generosity of the Fazio and Butler families, students throughout East County are receiving support that will help make college and career pathways more accessible.

The Nancy Fazio Memorial Scholarship awarded six scholarships of $4,000 each, while the Art Butler Memorial Scholarship awarded four scholarships of $3,000 each to deserving graduating seniors. (bgcec.org)

Behind every application was a unique story of perseverance, ambition, and hard work. Students submitted transcripts, recommendation letters, personal statements, and videos sharing their goals, passions, and plans for the future. From future educators and healthcare professionals to engineers, business leaders, and community advocates, this year’s recipients represent the incredible potential within our East County youth.
